If you know Bickford Park, you probably understand how peaceful and natural it feels. But what’s happening among the plants in those willowy woods? Come find out with us on Tuesday evenings this spring/summer! We’ll be exploring what’s growing and where, prune out invasive plants, and tend to our native plants and pollinators.
Our same lead stewards will be overseeing Christie Pits Park across the street as well! We are going to use the same stewardship time for both parks and bounce between them each week. This is subject to change as the season progresses.
! Please be aware that most of our stewarding areas are sloped ! Stewards should have closed toe shoes with ankle support, and preferably be okay with working on a slope.
