Transit: Take Line 2 to either Ossington or Christie Station. From there it’s about a 10 minute walk to the Northwest side of the park: our meeting spot.
Come join us at Christie Pits for our second season of stewardship! We have newly approved wooded areas to steward in and natives to plant. Let’s see what we can do together in this very urban, central and beloved park 🙂
In addition, our same leads will be overseeing Bickford Park across the street as well! We are going to use the same stewardship time for both parks and bounce between them each week. This subject to change as the season progresses.
! Please be aware that most of our stewarding areas are sloped ! Stewards should have closed toe shoes with ankle support, and preferably be okay with working on a slope.
