Leaside Park was a new addition to the TNS stewardship sites for 2023 that was expanded for 2024. It is now a 1-hectare thin strip of mostly level wooded land. The northern boundary is a paved path for the western portion and a chain link fence for the new easterly extension. Millwood Rd is the western boundary, and the eastern boundary is the end of a triangle of flat land. The south border is where a flat plateau ends in a steep and eroded slope leading down to the Don River. The west end of the site features some colourful chairs with a great view of the city skyline.

Issues at the site include litter, soil compaction due to wide footpaths, soil erosion, and invasive species, including buckthorn and dog-strangling vines. The site was approved for the planting of native species in 2024.
