The Port Union Waterfront Trail extends eastward along the shoreline of Lake Ontario from the underpass at the train tracks at Port Union Common to the bridge at Adam’s Creek. It is a beautiful meandering multi use trail with wonderful views of the lake and many native plants and trees. Stewards can help make a difference by removing dog strangling vine, garlic mustard, creeping bellflower, burdock and other invasives. Restoring the ecosystem is very rewarding and fun. There are public restrooms at Port Union Common but none along the trail at the site.
