Tucked away near Mount Pleasant Rd., this stewardship site is between two ESAs – Vale of Avoca, and Park Drive Ravine/Don Valley (West Side). An aquifer seeps into the site, creating a meandering stream and wetland habitat, surrounded by early successional forest. The Roxborough team established this pioneer TNS site in 2021, and has worked on removing invasive plants like Japanese knotweed, garlic mustard and buckthorn, and engaging local neighbors in stewardship.
